About Little Nellie Nimble
The story of "Little Nellie Nimble" revolves around a little African-American girl 5 - 8 years old. Her adventures, as they are called, provide a learning experience for all children. The story has characters from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. Through clever writing "The Adventures of Little Nellie Nimble" teaches children responsibility and the consequences of their behavior. The characters are illustrated throughout the stories to lend visual support to each plot. The discussion questions at the end of each "adventure" are a fun and effective way to prepare young students for standardized testing of reading and comprehension.
About The Author
As a father of four, and currently a grandfather to nine, Dennis Allen, who himself is one of 10 siblings, is well within his element as an author of children stories. With the input of his daughter LaShãda DiCosmo, who is also the mother of 3 of his grandchildren, Nellie Nimble, cute as she could be at three foot three, was given life. Originally conceived as a way of leaving a written series of common sense lessons for his lineage, Dennis has decided to share them with the world. We hope that you not only enjoy this simple yet informative series of childhood experiences, but that you also feel compelled to share them with your friends and extended family as well.
